Access to the news about the hip lift surgery videos published in The Sun by Thea Jacobs was banned

A series of news reports, including The Sun's report about The Sun newspaper reporter Jacobs posing as a patient seeking hip lift surgery to investigate health tourism in Turkey, were blocked from access by Izmir 1st Criminal Judgeship of Peace on 16 April.

The news report included footage of Jacobs at a promotional event in London by Ekol International Hospitals, posing as a patient interested in buttock lift surgery, during which he spoke with a Turkish doctor and experienced disturbing behavior.

The access ban decision was issued upon the request of Dr. Serkan Süleyman Aslan, who was examined by Jacobs.

Jacobs had said in the news report that Aslan, without a curtain or a medical procedure, "without any warning," pulled down her underwear and started examining her buttocks.
